Interested in an excellent all around summer camp?
Interested in an excellent all around summer camp? projectROCK is excited to bring you an entire week long experience filled with climbing, arts and crafts, science, and a ton of active games. Each week will come with a theme and related activities for a fun and different experience each day at camp. Ice Cream each Friday, projects to make and take home each week, and a low camper to coach ratio are just some of the perks of this summer’s camp.
I hope this email finds you all doing well. This past year has certainly been a challenge for all of us. The ups and downs we have all experienced as a result of COVID-19 will certainly never be forgotten.
We have committed, from the beginning, to follow the requirements/recommendations from the CDC and the County as to what restrictions needed to be imposed on our business operations. As I am sure you can understand, this has definitely put a strain on our (and every other business, for that matter) operations by having to reduce occupancy while incurring higher costs of operations. As many of you are probably aware, on Thursday May 13, 2021 the CDC has stated that those who are fully vaccinated no longer need to wear masks, indoors or outdoors.
Effective Monday May 17, 2021- we will no longer require masks to be worn while in the facility, nor will we restrict capacity or climbing lane usage but we will keep the sanitizing stations throughout. We ask that you, our amazing climbing community, continue to try to practice social distancing where possible especially on the wall. Of course, if you feel more comfortable and want to continue to wear a mask, that is not a problem. We have chosen Monday the 17th as we have several events planned for this weekend where we have booked them with the understanding of masks and distancing being in place.
The only exception to this will be for our Summer Camp participants. Since the majority of our campers are under the age of 12 and currently do not have the option to get a vaccine, we will be requiring masks for all camp participants as well as our Guides/Counsellors.
AS ALWAYS IF YOU DO NOT FEEL WELL, PLEASE STAY HOME. WE WILL BE HERE WHEN YOU FEEL BETTER!
I know that some will be very happy with this decision and some will not. We have tried very hard to stay out of the politics surrounding this pandemic and have always tried to follow the guidance of the CDC and the County.
I want to thank you all for your understanding and support through this process. I/We look forward to seeing you all climbing real soon!
